Phoenix cop faces charges for assault and endangerment after March collision.

The Phoenix Police Department recently announced the charges against the officer, who was found to be driving over 50 miles per hour above the speed limit while on duty. The department conducted an investigation and handed over its report to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, which led to a Grand Jury decision to charge the officer. The incident involved a collision between the officer's marked Phoenix Police Tahoe and another vehicle, resulting in both the officer and an adult in the other car being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
