One person killed in solo vehicle accident, according to coroner.
According to the Greenville County coroner's office, a fatal accident occurred on Saturday afternoon involving a single vehicle. The incident took place on Third Avenue when a 56-year-old man named Darrell Scott Puttman was driving an eastbound Nissan Versa. The vehicle veered off the road, struck a ditch, and flipped over. Unfortunately, Puttman succumbed to his injuries at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
