One fatality and two injuries in Wayne County crash
A deadly crash occurred in Wayne County, Indiana, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The incident took place on Monday evening at the intersection of North U.S. 35 and Sycamore Street in Williamsburg. The collision involved a truck pulling a trailer driven by 71-year-old Joseph Riggs from Economy, Indiana and a motorcycle operated by 43-year-old Shane Johnson with 41-year-old Kelly Rick as a passenger, both from Ottawa, Illinois. Rick lost her life at the scene, while Johnson and Riggs sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital. Authorities are currently investigating the accident and are awaiting the outcome of toxicology tests.
