One fatality and four injuries in Dallas collision

A fatal car crash occurred early Sunday morning in Dallas, resulting in one fatality and four others being hospitalized, according to authorities. Emergency responders arrived at the scene of a two-car collision at FM 1382 Highway and West Camp Wisdom Road around 2:20 a.m. in the Red Bird area of Dallas where severe injuries were reported. The incident involved a red sedan carrying four individuals, including two children, which was struck from behind by a silver sedan causing it to catch fire. The driver of the silver sedan was pulled from the burning vehicle by witnesses but unfortunately passed away at a local hospital. The four occupants of the red sedan were transported to nearby hospitals and are expected to recover. The Dallas Police Department's traffic investigators were present for several hours to investigate the crash, resulting in the closure of all northbound lanes on the highway. The investigation is still ongoing, and the deceased individual's identity has not been disclosed.
