Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) investigating deadly collision
An 83-year-old man from Adena tragically lost his life in a crash when his vehicle struck a house in Belmont County. The incident occurred on the evening of October 2 along U.S. 250 near milepost 3 in Colerain Township. The driver, Frank M. Kutav, was driving a 2017 Jeep Compass westbound when the vehicle went off the road and collided with the house. Despite being rushed to Wheeling Hospital, Kutav was pronounced dead. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, Colerain Township Fire and EMS, and T&K Towing responded to the scene. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
