NYPD van flips over, injuring several officers in East Harlem accident
Several New York City police officers were hurt when their NYPD van crashed and flipped over in Manhattan. The incident occurred in East Harlem early Sunday morning around 4 a.m. The scene saw a significant emergency response, with FDNY and NYPD personnel present, as well as officers being transported on stretchers. Three officers with minor injuries were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital. Although the van has been removed, a section of Lexington Ave. remained closed hours later.
