A fatal three-vehicle collision occurred in Gowanus, Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon, resulting in one fatality and injuries to four others, as reported by authorities. The incident took place at 2nd Avenue and 9th Street around 6:25 p.m. An individual operating a Honda minivan alongside two passengers collided with a Mercedes-Benz, driven by another person. This collision led to the Mercedes-Benz striking a Dodge vehicle. Tragically, the Mercedes-Benz driver succumbed to their injuries at a Brooklyn hospital. The occupants of the minivan were also hospitalized, with the female passenger in critical condition. By contrast, the Dodge driver is in stable condition. One individual has been apprehended by law enforcement in connection to the accident, with investigations ongoing.
