Norman resident dies in fatal Cleveland County crash
A 49-year-old man from Norman tragically lost his life in a collision in Cleveland County on Friday evening, as reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The incident occurred just before 9:15 p.m. near Purcell in the Lexington area on State Highway 39 and 120th Street. According to authorities, one driver veered into another lane, resulting in a collision with another vehicle. Haco Barfield, 49, from Norman, was fatally injured in the crash, while the other driver sustained injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
