New information has emerged about the tragic car accident that happened on Thursday along the Corinth-Patra motorway, resulting in the loss of two lives. According to reports, the 70-year-old driver mistakenly drove on the wrong side of the road for about a kilometer before colliding with a pickup truck. Tragically, her vehicle caught fire upon impact, and she was unable to escape, resulting in severe burns. The occupants of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries, with one of them later passing away, while the other remains hospitalized. A family member of the driver revealed on MEGA TV that she had been battling worsening multiple sclerosis for the last two years, despite warnings from loved ones to stop driving.
