New information about fatal Cleveland collision with 51-year-old victim

Authorities in Cleveland reported that a fatal crash occurred on Saturday involving a 51-year-old SUV driver who is believed to have suffered a medical emergency before the accident took place near the intersection of Puritas Avenue and West 192nd Street. The driver, identified as Raid Yamil Elabd, was traveling east on Puritas Avenue when his SUV veered off the road, striking a vehicle in the westbound lane, and then hitting an embankment before colliding with a parked vehicle. Unfortunately, Elabd passed away at the scene, while the driver of the first vehicle struck was taken to a local hospital for assessment. Police are still in the initial stages of their investigation into the incident.
