Multiple vehicle collision leads to fatalities in Prince George's County
Authorities from the Maryland State Police have reported that there have been fatalities resulting from a multi-vehicle car collision in Prince George's County. The police have confirmed that two individuals have lost their lives in the incident involving eight cars. The victims, identified as two women who were in the same vehicle, succumbed to their injuries. Additionally, one driver was taken to a hospital for treatment. The crash occurred on MD-202 NB (Landover Road) at St. Joseph's Drive, leading to the closure of all northbound lanes with traffic being diverted to Lottsford Road.
