Motorcycle-car collision in Preston results in injuries
A collision between a car and a motorcycle near Mattern Road resulted in the closure of Route 2 in both directions on Tuesday at approximately 5:20 p.m. There have been reports of injuries, but the severity is currently unclear, as confirmed by Connecticut State Police. Drivers are being redirected to Spicer Road from Route 2 West for the time being.
