Motorbike rider injured in northeast Las Vegas valley accident
A small motorcycle rider sustained severe injuries in a collision in the northeast Las Vegas valley, as reported by Metro police. The incident took place on Sunday evening near Gowan and Pecos roads, involving a small motorcycle and a car. According to authorities, the small motorcycle was heading east on Gowan Road when a sedan traveling west on the same road initiated a left turn onto Pecos Road, resulting in the collision between the two vehicles. The rider was critically injured and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, Metro police confirmed. The road closure at Pecos Road and Gowan Road was reported by RTC Southern Nevada.
