Mother of teenager killed in Little Five Points accident advocates for 'true justice'

The individual accused of fleeing from a Georgia State Patrol officer and causing a fatal crash in Atlanta's Little Five Points earlier this year appeared in court for her arraignment. Faduma Mohamed, 23, chose not to attend and entered a plea of not guilty. The victim's mother, Kate Schoenke, is advocating for what she perceives as true justice following the death of her son, Cooper Schoenke, in the April incident. Mohamed is currently facing charges in the DeKalb County court system. Kate is emphatic about wanting a conviction for Mohamed without any plea deals. She feels that crimes of this magnitude deserve full accountability. The District Attorney's Office stated that they have been in communication with the Schoenke family and emphasized their commitment to seeking justice for Cooper in the case.
