Mother of Crow Extols Healthcare Workers for Saving Her Life
In May of last year, Lachelle Pickett, a 39-year-old mother of three, survived a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver on her way home to Crow Agency. Her life was saved by the healthcare team at a hospital in Billings. Pickett recently returned to Billings to express gratitude to the healthcare professionals who saved her. Watch her emotional reunion with the hospital team in the video below. Pickett recalls very little of the accident, but thanks to her loved ones, she has pieced together what happened. Unfortunately, her significant other and brother-in-law did not survive the crash. Despite severe injuries, including head trauma and a broken femur, Pickett made a remarkable recovery after months of therapy and is now back at work. She cherishes the healthcare team who played a vital role in her survival and advocates against drunk driving.
