
Moeller student severely injured in accident per school officials
The school announced that a student from Archbishop Moeller High School is in critical condition following an accident. Details about the incident were not shared by the school, though it was reported by Colerain Township police that the sophomore was injured in a crash around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5. A prayer service was held at the school in response to the accident. The police found a 14-year-old male student unconscious but breathing after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle. The teenager was taken to UC Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The police later located the vehicle involved in the crash, and the driver has been identified. While no arrests have been reported, the incident is being investigated by the Colerain Township's Traffic Safety Unit.
