Miami teenager apprehended for dirt bike accident leading to cyclist's death on Rickenbacker Causeway, authorities report
Last Thursday afternoon, a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a fatal accident on the Rickenbacker Causeway, where he reportedly collided with a bicyclist using a dirt bike, resulting in the death of 54-year-old Fabian Moses. The teenager is currently facing charges for driving without a license and causing death or serious injury with a vehicle, although it has not been confirmed whether he will be charged as an adult. The incident occurred on the William M. Powell Bridge of the causeway when the teen, riding with a group of juveniles on dirt bikes, reportedly struck Moses and caused the fatal collision. Despite efforts from emergency responders, Moses passed away at the hospital, while the teen sustained serious injuries. The teenager's lack of a driver's license and the dirt bike's lack of registration were revealed during the investigation. On Thursday, the teen turned himself in to Miami Police voluntarily.
