MCSO probing lone-car accident, Atlantic Avenue shut down
Atlantic Avenue in Penfield will experience a road closure on Wednesday as a result of a car accident. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has shut down the section of Atlantic Avenue between Five Mile Line Road and Baird Road while they conduct an investigation. Traffic lights along Atlantic are currently not functioning properly. Authorities have not released details about the single-vehicle accident. It is recommended that drivers find alternative routes to avoid the area.
