In San Angelo, a recent high-speed chase led to a collision involving three vehicles at the junction of North Bryant Boulevard and West 7th Street. According to CVHP journalists at the scene, the entrance from 7th Street has been temporarily closed off. Texas Department of Public Safety officials revealed that during a routine patrol on US 87 North near the county line, troopers spotted a vehicle speeding at 123 miles per hour. Despite attempts to pull over the vehicle, it fled, eventually leading to a crash near US 87 and 7th Street intersection. The Hyundai Elantra, identified as the fleeing vehicle, collided with a Honda Civic and a Chevrolet Silverado. The drivers of the Elantra and Civic were taken to Shannon Medical Center for injuries, while the Silverado driver was unharmed. Charges are being considered for the Elantra driver, whose identity has not been disclosed at this time.
