Man who sought freedom dies in motorcycle accident
A tragic accident occurred in Outagamie County resulting in the death of a young man from Freedom. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Meade Street and Mackville Road in the Town of Center on Wednesday, Aug 20 around 3 p.m. The initial findings indicate that the motorcycle, operated by a 20-year-old individual from Freedom, was heading south on Meade Street when it collided with an SUV driven by a 26-year-old woman from Grand Chute who was making a southbound turn onto Meade Street. Unfortunately, the motorcycle driver passed away at the scene, while the SUV driver escaped unharmed. Authorities do not suspect alcohol played a role in the incident.
