Man sentenced to prison for deadly crash at Cleveland drive-thru

A man from Cleveland, Juan Soto, has been sentenced to 13 to 18 years in prison for his role in a fatal drunk driving crash near a Cleveland drive-thru last year that resulted in the death of 34-year-old Gilmarie Quinones. Soto was found guilty by a Cuyahoga County jury of involuntary manslaughter, driving under the influence, and aggravated vehicular assault. The incident occurred in April 2024 when Soto crashed his vehicle into another while both were traveling on Fulton Road near Clark Avenue, leading to a collision with a Rally's Drive-In restaurant. Prosecutors reported that Quinones died in the crash, while another victim sustained critical injuries. It was determined that Soto was driving under the influence at the time of the accident.
