
Man from Pennsylvania accused of fleeing deadly DUI crash near victim's residence
A man from Venango County, Pennsylvania is facing serious charges following a tragic incident earlier this month. The individual, identified as 38-year-old Bradley Barnhart from Kennerdell, PA, has been accused of driving under the influence during a deadly crash that took place near the home of the victim on a state highway. The crash resulted in the death of 73-year-old Lane Russell, who was hit by Barnhart's SUV while walking towards his mailbox. After the crash, Barnhart allegedly fled the scene, but was apprehended by authorities the same day. He is currently detained in the Venango County Jail without bail, facing charges including felony homicide by vehicle and homicide by vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, as well as reckless driving.
