Man from Massachusetts apprehended after fatal collision last November
A man from New Bedford has been taken into custody for causing a fatal accident in Massachusetts after driving in the wrong direction on I-95 in New Hampshire. Keoma Duarte, 40, was arrested following an investigation into the reckless driving incident which occurred in November 2024. New Hampshire State Police reported that Duarte was observed driving a Tesla in the opposite lanes on the highway, leading to a collision resulting in the death of Jeremy Cole. Duarte, who was also injured, was treated at a Boston hospital. He has been charged with multiple offenses and appeared in court in Hampton.
