Man from Ava suffers severe injuries in a collision in Taney County
The latest report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol reveals that a collision took place at the junction of Highway 176 and Cedarwood Drive. The incident involved a car making a left turn that was hit by a motorcycle, causing the driver to be thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man from Ava, suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Meanwhile, the two individuals from Branson who were in the car were transported to Cox Medical Center Branson for treatment of their minor injuries.
