Man detained in relation to Ansonia accident resulting in death of 27-year-old man
A 26-year-old man from Ansonia was recently arrested for his alleged involvement in a tragic crash that resulted in the death of a 27-year-old individual on Pershing Drive in September. Adonis Lapuppet-Bligen lost his life due to a car accident on Sept. 24. Isac Saravia, the accused, was supposedly driving his own vehicle closely behind Lapuppet-Bligen just before the fatal collision occurred. Both drivers were suspected of traveling at high speeds of 80 mph. Investigations revealed that Lapuppet-Bligen had a blood alcohol content of 0.089 at the time of the incident. Although there was no proof of a racing scenario, Saravia faces charges of first-degree reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He has posted bail and is set to appear in court on Nov. 12.
