Man apprehended, 3 kids placed with CPS after pursuit with Monroe County officer
A driver in Monroe County, Michigan, was apprehended after attempting to evade police and making several efforts to collide with a deputy's patrol car. The suspect had three children as passengers in the vehicle, who were later taken in by Child Protective Services. The situation began early Monday morning when a motorist reported being chased on Lewis Avenue in Raisinville Township. Despite the suspect's attempts to flee, the patrol car was able to stop the vehicle. The driver, a 31-year-old man, was arrested without any further issues. The man, along with a female passenger and the children, showed signs of a mental health crisis and were taken to a hospital for evaluation. The suspect is currently in custody awaiting court proceedings.
