Man admits to DUI in fatal 2023 collision
In Austin, a man was recently sentenced for a 2023 incident where he caused a fatal crash while driving under the influence. Court records revealed that Ruben Ysasi, then 44 years old, pleaded guilty to DWI and was given a three-day county jail sentence with five days of credit. The crash took place near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in the early hours of October 5, 2023, when Ysasi's vehicle lost control and collided with another driver, resulting in a fatality.
