Man admits to causing death in 2024 wrong-way crash.
The video shared above, which was broadcast in October 2024, reported on a case from Westbrook, Connecticut involving a Groton man named Troy Bree. Bree, 58, was involved in a fatal wrong-way crash on I-95 where his vehicle collided with Mark Palumbo Jr., resulting in Palumbo's death. Bree has pleaded guilty to several charges including second-degree manslaughter, misconduct with a motor vehicle, and first-degree reckless endangerment. Initially facing charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving, Bree turned himself in on further charges in March. His next court date is scheduled for January 28, 2026.
