Maine Turnpike reopens in New Gloucester following 'serious' crash

The southbound lanes of the Maine Turnpike in New Gloucester were closed due to a two-vehicle crash near mile 71, described as "serious" by the Gray Fire Department. Traffic was diverted off the highway at Exit 75 but by 8 a.m., one lane was open for southbound traffic. Maine State Police are investigating the incident, and by 10 a.m., both lanes had reopened.
