LSP reveals video, other evidence in deadly crash with Kyren Lacy
Louisiana State Police has recently released a comprehensive crash report, along with multiple witness statements and additional video footage related to the fatal crash involving Kyren Lacy in Lafourche Parish. State Police created a Critical Incident Briefing Video that provides an informative overview of the incident, including facts and investigative findings. The video is accessible through this link. Additional evidence can be obtained through a public records request. The tragic incident took place on December 17, 2024, on La. 20 and resulted in several injuries and loss of life. Lacy was charged with negligent homicide in the death of Herman Hall, 78, due to reckless driving and speeding. Lacy later passed away from what investigators suspect was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The case was thoroughly reviewed with the Lafourche Parish District Attorney's Office to determine appropriate charges. Subsequently, the findings were presented to the 17th Judicial District Court, which issued an arrest warrant for Lacy, pending a grand jury hearing.
