LSP reveals evidence in deadly accident with Kyren Lacy
Louisiana State Police has shared the complete crash report, multiple witness testimonies, and additional footage related to the fatal crash involving Kyren Lacy in Lafourche Parish. According to a recent press release, LSP has produced a Critical Incident Briefing Video to offer a comprehensive overview of the incident, details, and investigation results. The tragic incident occurred on December 17, 2024, on La. 20, resulting in several injuries and casualties. Following the investigation, Lacy was charged with negligent homicide in connection with the death of 78-year-old Herman Hall. Allegations of reckless driving and speeding were made against Lacy, who later passed away from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The case details were reviewed in partnership with the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office to determine appropriate charges. Subsequently, the findings were presented to the 17th Judicial District Court, which issued an arrest warrant for Lacy, pending a grand jury hearing.
