Louisiana man arrested for deadly Festus collision

A man from Louisiana has been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly crash that took place on I-55 near Festus, Missouri. The collision, which involved multiple vehicles and resulted in three fatalities, occurred on September 28th. The victims have been identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated that the incident, which involved eight vehicles and caused injuries to five others, occurred before 3:30 p.m. The driver, identified as Richard Holden from Greensburg, Louisiana, is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and is currently in custody at Jefferson County Jail.
