Kentucky man dies in industrial accident pinned under work truck.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office announced that a man from New York lost his life in Petersburg after the Freightliner he was driving overturned and trapped him underneath on Thursday. Deputies responded to an "industrial accident" call at the 2400 block of Lawrenceburg Ferry Road around 7 p.m. Road Safety System LLC was onsite to install guardrails when the incident occurred. The deceased, identified as 42-year-old Robert Kinsella from New York, was operating a 2013 Freightliner M21 with a rear-mounted post drive. The truck backed over an embankment and overturned while Kinsella operated it from the rear control panel, leading to the tragic outcome. Another individual was struck by the truck during the incident. Kinsella was pronounced dead at the scene, while the injured individual was airlifted to a hospital and is now in stable condition. The sheriff's office is conducting an investigation into the accident's circumstances.
