
Kenosha man faces charges in deadly head-on collision in Somers Sunday evening
A Kenosha resident is currently facing charges of homicide and drug possession in connection with a fatal head-on collision that took place in the Village of Somers on Sunday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 5th, near the 3400 block of CTH E/12th Street. The crash involved a pickup truck driven by 27-year-old Marcus Mann, which crossed the centerline while traveling eastbound on CTH E and collided head-on with an SUV. The driver of the SUV was tragically pronounced dead at the scene and had to be rescued from the vehicle. Mann sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital before being charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, possession of cocaine, and possession of THC. The sheriff's office has indicated that both drivers were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles.
