KCKPD: One person killed in solo vehicle accident overnight
The traffic division of the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is currently investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that took place overnight. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday in the 300 block of North James Street and involved a vehicle with two occupants. Initial findings suggest that the vehicle was speeding northbound on James Street, lost control at a curve, and went over a bridge. Unfortunately, one person died at the scene while the other was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
