Jet Ski and boat crash near Fort Myers results in 1 fatality and 1 injury
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday near Captiva Pass in Lee County, Florida, resulting in one fatality following a collision between a Jet Ski and a 28-foot vessel. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, among other agencies, responded to the scene where the two vessels had crashed while traveling in Pine Island Sound. Regrettably, one individual on the Jet Ski succumbed to their injuries on-site, while another was airlifted to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. Fortunately, all four individuals aboard the larger vessel were unharmed.
