Investigation underway for fatal train collision in Turlock
Multiple railroad crossings in Turlock have been shut down following a tragic accident between a train and a pedestrian earlier this week. The incident occurred near the intersection of Golden State Boulevard and Fulkerth Road. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the accident resulted in a fatality. As a result of ongoing investigations, several railroad crossings located south of Fulkerth Road, including Golden State at Fulkerth, Front at Broadway, and Front at Canal, are currently closed. Authorities anticipate that the train will resume its operations by late morning on Tuesday.
