Investigation underway for fatal crash on I-74 by Hendricks County Sheriff's Office
Authorities in Lizton are currently investigating a tragic incident that took place on I-74, resulting in a fatality. The Hendricks County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash involved a lone male driver in a semi-tanker truck at the 58-mile marker in the eastbound lane. The truck veered off the road and overturned. Despite immediate life-saving measures, the driver was found without a pulse and later succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. It is uncertain whether the driver's death was a result of a medical emergency or injuries sustained during the crash. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
