Investigation ongoing into fatal Womelsdorf Borough crash
A tragic accident in Berks County on Saturday resulted in the death of one person and injuries to another as a result of a collision between two vehicles. The incident took place at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 422 and North Water Street in Womelsdorf Borough, as reported by fire officials. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered one individual had been thrown from a vehicle. The Womelsdorf Volunteer Fire Company confirmed that both drivers were involved, with one driver losing their life at the site of the crash and the other being transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities from Womelsdorf Police and Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating the details surrounding the accident.
