Investigation of deadly car accident in canal
In Grand Junction, Colorado, emergency crews from the Grand Junction Police Department and Fire Department were called to the scene of a vehicle that had crashed into a canal on Horizon Drive early Saturday morning. The vehicle was submerged underwater and a female passenger was taken to the hospital for assessment. Sadly, a male passenger found inside the vehicle was declared deceased at the site. The identity of the deceased individual will be disclosed by the Mesa County Coroner's Office following proper notifications.
