Investigation of deadly Buchanan County accident by Virginia State Police
Authorities in Buchanan, Va., are currently looking into a fatal car accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 16. According to reports, a 2006 Chevy HHR veered off the road and overturned on Route 460 near the 1600 block of Riverside Drive. The driver, identified as 71-year-old James F. Ratliff, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
