Investigation launched after deadly accident on Cross Island Parkway: NYPD
In Queens, New York, a deadly collision on the Cross Island Parkway is under investigation after a 1999 BMW crashed in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The vehicle struck a guardrail before flipping over onto its roof near Exit 31. Emergency responders rushed a 24-year-old man named Bishinu Madray-Mootoo to the hospital, where he tragically passed away. Another person involved in the incident fled the scene. As of now, no arrests have been made, and law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation.
