Investigation into Death of Windsor Man in Single-Vehicle Accident
In Windsor, South Carolina, a tragic incident involving a single-vehicle accident has led to an investigation by the Aiken County Coroner's Office. The incident occurred on June 2nd at 10:12 A.M. on Old Barnwell Road near Stillwater Road. Wade Sweat, III, a 42-year-old man from Windsor, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet truck when the vehicle veered off the road, overturned, and crashed into a fence. Sweat was taken to Wellstar MCG Health, where he passed away from his injuries at 5:45 P.M. The Coroner's Office, in collaboration with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
