Interstate 79 Northbound Lanes Closed by Crash Near McKees Rocks
UPDATE as of October 16, 2025: PennDOT has reported that the accident has been resolved and all lanes are now open. Earlier today, the northbound lanes of Interstate 79 were closed due to a multi-vehicle crash between the Crafton/Moon Run and the Coraopolis/McKees Rocks interchanges. PennDOT advised drivers to find alternate routes during the temporary closure. No injuries requiring hospitalization were reported at the scene by 7:45 a.m. this Thursday.
