Intersection closed after multiple-car crash in south Las Vegas valley
Four individuals were in a multiple-vehicle collision in the southern part of Las Vegas valley on Saturday afternoon, according to Metro police. The incident occurred at Windmill Lane and Las Vegas Boulevard involving three mid-sized SUVs and a minivan. Among the injured were four individuals, including a minor, who were transported to nearby hospitals. Two sustained minor injuries while the other two faced more severe injuries. A person has been arrested on charges related to driving under the influence. LVMPD Fatal detectives have taken charge of the investigation, and the Windmill and Las Vegas Boulevard intersection is currently closed in all directions. Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area and seek alternative routes.
