Injury to trooper and driver in multi-car accident on Florida Turnpike.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident on the Florida Turnpike that occurred on Saturday night and involved a patrol car. The crash took place in the northbound lanes near State Road 417 in Orlando, Orange County. A semi-trailer attempted to change lanes and collided with a Toyota Camry, leading to a chain reaction involving a Dodge pickup and the patrol car. Two individuals were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while the other drivers involved were not harmed. The trooper involved in the accident also sustained minor injuries.
