Injury reported in Daviess County multi-car crash
A person was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash in Daviess County over the weekend. The incident occurred on State Road 58 when two motorcycles heading west near County Road 700 E were involved in a chain reaction. One motorcycle slowed down for a turning vehicle, causing the other motorcycle to collide into it. This second motorcycle then crossed into eastbound lanes where it was hit by another vehicle, resulting in the driver sustaining several injuries. The injured motorist was taken to the hospital, and authorities are still looking into the details of the accident. The Indiana State Police are working on reconstructing the sequence of events, while the Daviess County Sheriff's Office is overseeing the investigation.
