Injuries following Louisville plane crash

On Tuesday, a plane crash was reported in Louisville, Kentucky near Fern Valley and Grade Lane. Multiple agencies responded to the incident which resulted in Grade Lane being closed between Stooges and Crittenden. Governor Andy Beshear released a statement expressing concern for those involved and noting that more details would be shared as they become available. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that UPS Flight 2976, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11, crashed at approximately 5:15 p.m. while departing for Hawaii from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. Flights at the airport were temporarily suspended following the incident, with passengers advised to check their flight status via airline websites. Three crewmembers were aboard the aircraft, with multiple injuries reported. Investigations are being conducted by the FAA and NTSB.
