Injured person in patrol car accident in Los Lunas
Local authorities are currently investigating an incident involving a patrol car crash that occurred during a attempted traffic stop in Los Lunas. New Mexico State Police reported that during the incident, a patrol unit attempted to stop a vehicle on El Cerro Loop near Ruiz Lane, leading to a collision with an officer traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the vehicle that was being pursued was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the officer was unharmed. Three other vehicles were also involved in the crash, but no additional injuries were reported. The area where the incident took place remains closed as investigations continue.
