Injured Deputy in Rollover Crash, Officials Report
An incident occurred early Wednesday morning in Miami-Dade involving a Sheriff's Office deputy. The deputy was driving a marked vehicle north on NW 21st Avenue when they collided with a palm tree, resulting in the vehicle overturning. The deputy, who has not been named, sustained upper body cuts but was in stable condition and managed to exit the vehicle on their own. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. Currently, both lanes in the area are closed while authorities investigate the crash.
